Beat Inflation!

Had the chance to check my online portfolio in Citisec Online and I'm happy to see that all the stocks I invested in are performing well in the stock market.

I started investing last 2011 in 2 blue chip companies with the main goal of beating inflation with my hard earned money instead of leaving it in a savings account at a bank. Added the last blue chip company a few years after (and it's the one that has the highest paper gain percentage!).

In my 6 years of investing I learned that it really pays to: 1. For long term investments, choose a stable company with good credit ratings in the market.

2. It pays to have multiple streams of income. Last 2015 I withdrew a huge sum because of a certain expansion we did as a family. I added another one which is what I am enjoying and love doing right now. ❤

3. Plant now, harvest later. Have a mindset that when you invest in something, you DO NOT touch it under certain circumstances. Huwag mong gagalawin!

4. I am happy I can earn this much as an individual, but it's more gratifying and fulfilling to be able to teach others how to have another source of income and become self-sufficient on their own, hindi lang para sa sarili at pamilya niya, pero para na rin sa pangarap niyang naging pangarap na lang. (Relate?)

5. There is a better way for an individual to earn and in a way na matulungan din niya ang kapwa niya kumita. It is a great equalizer for everyone. You do not have to be a sophisticated investor or a licensed professional para kumita ng malaki. Hindi mo kailangang maging expert. Ang kailangan mo lang? Pangarap, passion, focus, action, commitment and a winning attitude.

P.s. *I'm still investing in the stock market and growing my portfolio. **There are other options you can choose now that will allow you to earn a higher percentage in banks. Ask your respective banks what they can offer you. ***I really love the industry I'm in right now and I would love to share it with you.
